The Kiwanis California-Nevada-Hawaii Foundation is proud to host our second annual "Rubber Ducky Regatta" to be held at the University of Redlands on Saturday, April 25th, 2009.

Last year's race saw over 7,000 ducks adopted and raised $25,000 for our Kiwanis Doctor Program and local Kiwanis clubs.  This year's event will be bigger than ever with an anticipated 10,000 ducks racing down the "University of Redlands" river.  Performances by local entertainers, a sponsor race and a Kiwanis Club race will lead up to the Main Event at 12:00 PM.

Proceeds will help fund many of our Kiwanis clubs youth programs and services, as well as the Foundation's Pediatric Trauma Program at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.  You will be happy to know the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation and the local clubs provide services that benefit childern throughout the Inland Empire.  Kiwanis Clubs and their members make a tremendous difference in the lives of thousands of children each year and we appreciate your consideration for our cause.

Did you know that for $5, about the cost of a cup of coffee, you can change the life of a child? For $5 you can ensure a child with a respiratory illness is accurately diagnosed during their first visit, helping to prevent permanent lung damage. Or a child involved in a car accident gets the right care, right away, preventing further complications from untreated injuries.

The "Kiwanis Doctor" program is changing the lives of children. Each year, the "Kiwanis Doctor" provides the highest level of emergency pediatric care to more than 2,000 children in trauma. As a result, these children are being diagnosed faster and more accurately than ever before, yielding shorter recovery times and better overall outcomes. Parents are thankful because their children are getting the right care, right away.

Spread the word and ask others to join you in adopting a duck to save a life. Together as one, we can make a difference.
