Distinguished Kiwanian Award (DKA)
Do you have a "Distinguished Kiwanian" in your club? Not sure? Answer the following questions. Do you have any members in your club who have completed the following:
- Sponsored a new member into any club in the District - Participated in a Club Service Project AND Club Fundraiser - Attended two (2) Inter-clubs AND one (1) Division Council Meeting - Attended your club or division installation (for the 2007-2008 team) or the Governor's Official Visit - Attended a Sponsored Organization meeting or convention - Attended a Mid-Year Conference or District Convention If you answered "yes" to all, you have a "Distinguished Kiwanian" in your club who deserves recognition! To obtain a distinctive lapel pin to award to your Distinguished Kiwanian, simply complete the DKA form and submit it today. Lapel pins will be sent to your Lt. Governor for presentation at a suitable event.

CLE Trainers
The district is looking for Kiwanians that are interested in providing Club Leadership Education for club presidents and secretaries. The trainings are scheduled during the months of June, July and August. If you are interested and have a background in training, and are well-versed in Kiwanis education, please complete the following steps:
Step 1. Submit professional resume to CLE chairman Bob Erikson by February 15. pgov96@dslextreme.com
Step 2. Indicate years in Kiwanis and positions held.
Step 3. Participate in an interview during the weeks of the midyear conferences.
Step 4. If selected, participate in a one-day trainer’s training during the spring.
Step 5. If selected, be prepared to provide up to three trainings (June - August 2008)
